Our vineyards sit on varied soils — from loam to sandy loam textures, with silt and clay present — topped by a surface layer of river stones or pebbles, the mark of the old bed of the River Júcar. These soils drain excellently, force the roots to search deep and concentrate minerals that translate into wines with character and structure. The landscape around the vineyards combines grassland, Mediterranean woodland and scrub, fostering a balanced ecosystem. This biodiversity is not only an environmental asset; it also encourages respectful viticultural practices and a healthy vineyard, which is reflected in the quality of the fruit.
